It's best to choose a smaller size

That’s the advice everyone gives, and it’s still true: you’re almost always disappointed when you choose a size that’s too big, but never when you choose a comfortable one. Diameter matters more than length—that’s what you feel. Anything under 4 cm in diameter is within a range accessible to everyone; beyond that, it’s best to take it slowly.

Every material has its own characteristics

Silicone is flexible, non-porous, and can be disinfected: it’s the most versatile choice. Glass and metal are firm, perfectly smooth, and, most importantly, they retain temperature—a few minutes under warm or cool water completely changes the sensation. TPE closely mimics skin but remains porous, so it’s for personal use only.

Suction cup, harness, flared base

A suction cup frees up your hands and opens up new positions; make sure it sticks to a truly smooth surface. A flat, harness-compatible base allows two people to share the toy. And for any anal use, a flared base is mandatory, without exception: it’s what prevents the toy from going too far. Use water-based lubricant, clean with soapy water, and let it dry completely before storing.
