Every style has its own concept
The jockstrap provides support in the front and leaves the back free: it’s the most recognizable style on the shelf, and often the most comfortable once you find the right size. Boxer briefs remain a safe bet, perfect for everyday wear. Thongs and high-cut briefs disappear under your clothes. Harnesses and faux-leather pieces, on the other hand, aren’t meant to be worn all day—they’re designed for a special moment.
The fabric determines comfort
Cotton blends are breathable and can be washed without special care: these are the ones you keep. Microfiber and modal are finer, softer, and dry quickly. Fishnet provides ventilation and plays with transparency. Faux leather and vinyl hold their shape but aren’t breathable at all: great for a night out, but uncomfortable for anything longer.
Size and Care
Sizes often follow the brand’s S/M/L/XL sizing rather than French waist measurements: refer to the size chart in the product description, and measure at the hips. Wash at 30°, without fabric softener—it’s the fabric softener that clogs the spandex and loosens the waistband. Air-dry: the dryer shortens the garment’s lifespan by a few months with every use.
